Personnel to be placed specially in charge of state secrets shall be examined and approved in accordance with the provisions of the state secret-guarding department and the competent personnel department.第二十九条 对非法持有属于国家秘密的文件、资料和其他物品的，以及非法持有、使用专用间谍器材的，国家安全机关可以依法对其人身、物品、住处和其他有关的地方进行搜查；对其非法持有的属于国家秘密的文件、资料和其他物品，以及非法持有、使用的专用间谍器材予以没收。 Article 29 A State security organ may search the body, articles, residence and other related places of anyone who unlawfully holds documents, materials or other articles classified as State secrets, or who unlawfully holds or uses equipment and materials specially for espionage purposes, and may confiscate such documents, materials and other articles, as well as such equipment and materials.第二十九条戒严执勤人员应当遵守法律、法规和执勤规则，服从命令，履行职责，尊重当地民族风俗习惯，不得侵犯和损害公民的合法权益。 Article 29 Martial-law-enforcing officers shall observe laws, regulations, and rules governing performance of duties, obey orders, fulfill their functions and duties and respect the local ethnic customs and habits, and they shall not infringe upon or harm the lawful rights and interests of citizens.第二十九条国家军品贸易管理工作人员玩忽职守、循私舞弊、滥用职权或者利用职务上的便利收受、索取他人财物，构成犯罪的，依法追究刑事责任；尚不构成犯罪的，依法给予行政处分。 ARTICLE 29 Staff working in national military export administration and management posts who neglect duties, perform fraudulent practices for selfish ends, abuse power, or accept and demand bribes shall be prosecuted according to law if criminal offenses have been committed. Article 29 Where it is necessary for the public security organs to assist in the maintenance of security and administrative order in the military restricted zones and the military administrative zones, public security organizations may be set up by the decision of the State Council and the Central Military Commission or with approval by the public security departments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government following application submitted by the relevant military organs. 第二十九条 退出现役转入预备役的军官，退出现役确定服军官预备役的士兵，以及确定服军官预备役的高等院校毕业学生，在到达工作单位或者居住地以后的三十天内，到当地县、自治县、市、市辖区的兵役机关办理预备役登记。 Article 29. Officers who have been discharged from active service and transferred to reserve service, soldiers who have been discharged from active service and assigned to serve in the officers reserve and graduates of institutions of higher learning assigned to serve in the officers reserve shall, within thirty days of their arrival at their places of work or residence, register for reserve service with the military service organs of their counties, autonomous counties, cities or municipal districts.第二十九条 机关、单位应当对工作人员进行保密教育，定期检查保密工作。 Article 29.
