Families of conscripts which reside in rural areas shall be given favourable treatment through an equal sharing of the burden to be effected by the people's governments of townships, nationality townships or towns. The specific measures and standards for such favourable treatment shall be formulated by the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government. 第五十五条 现役军人牺牲、病故，由国家发给其家属一次抚恤金。其家属无劳动能力或者无固定收入不能维持生活的，再由国家定期发给抚恤金。 Article 55. A pension in a lump sum shall be given by the state to the family of an active serviceman who was killed in action or died of a disease. If the family cannot provide for itself because it has no one who can work or because it has no regular income, it shall be given a periodical pension by the state. 第五十六条 义务兵退出现役后，按照从那里来、回那里去的原则，由原征集的县、自治县、市、市辖区的人民政府接收安置： Article 56. Conscripts discharged from active service shall, on the principle of returning to the place where they came from, be accepted and placed by the people's governments of the counties, autonomous counties, cities or municipal districts where they were enlisted: 第五十七条 在服现役期间患精神病的义务兵退出现役后，视病情轻重，送地方医院收容治疗或者回家休养， 所需医疗和生活费用，由县、自治县、市、市辖区的人民政府负责。 Article 57. Conscripts discharged from active service because of mental disorder acquired during the period of their active service shall, depending on the seriousness of their cases, be sent to a civilian hospital for medical treatment or sent home for recuperation. Their medical and living expenses shall be borne by the people's governments of their respective counties, autonomous counties, cities or municipal districts. 第五十八条 志愿兵退出现役后，由原征集的县、自治县、市、市辖区的人民政府安排工作；遇有特殊情况，也可以由上一级或者省、自治区、直辖市的人民政府统筹安排；自愿回乡参加农业生产的，给予鼓励，增发安家补助费。 Article 58. Volunteers discharged from active service shall be given jobs by the people's governments of their counties, autonomous counties, cities or municipal districts where they were enlisted; in special cases they may also be placed through an overall arrangement by the people's governments at the next higher level or of provinces, autonomous regions, or municipalities directly under the Central Government. Those who wish to return to the rural areas to take part in agricultural production shall be encouraged to do so and given extra subsidies for setting up a home there. 第五十九条 军官退出现役后，由国家妥善安置。 Article 59. Officers discharged from active service shall be properly placed by the state.第六条戒严地区内的一切组织和个人，必须严格遵守戒严令和实施戒严令的规定，积极协助人民政府恢复正常社会秩序。 Article 6 All organizations and individuals in the area under martial law shall strictly observe the order of martial law and the rules and regulations for executing the order of martial law and actively assist the people's government in bringing public order to normal.第六条 父母无国籍或国籍不明，定居在中国，本人出生在中国，具有中国国籍。 Article 6 Any person born in China whose parents are stateless or of uncertain nationality and have settled in China shall have Chinese nationality.第六条 国务院各部门，地方各级人民代表大会常务委员会、人民政府、人民法院、人民检察院，中国人民政治协商会议地方各级委员会，应当在工作日升挂国旗。 Article 6 Departments under the State Council, the standing committees of the local people's congresses, the people's governments, the people's courts, the people's procuratorates and the local committees of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference at various levels shall display the National Flag during working days.第六条 各单位和个人应当对测绘提供便利，不得妨碍和阻挠测绘人员按照规定进行测绘活动。 Article 6 Every unit and individual shall help facilitate surveying and mapping and must not impede or obstruct surveying and mapping personnel from carrying out surveying and mapping activities in accordance with relevant regulations.??? 第六条 外国非军用船舶，享有依法无害通过中华人民共和国领海的权利。 Article 6 Foreign ships for non-military purposes shall enjoy the right of innocent passage through the territorial sea of the People's Republic of China in accordance with the law.第六条 中国公民因公务出境，由派遣部门向外交部或者外交部授权的地方外事部门申请办理出境证件。 Article 6 In the case of Chinese citizens leaving the country on official business, the units sending them abroad shall apply to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the local foreign affairs department authorized by the ministry for the citizens' exit certificates and acquire the certificates for them.第六条 全国人民代表大会常务委员会决定宣布战争状态或者因香港特别行政区内发生香港特别行政区政府不能控制的危及国家统一或者安全的动乱而决定香港特别行政区进入紧急状态时，香港驻军根据中央人民政府决定在香港特别行政区实施的全国性法律的规定履行职责。 Article 6 In the event that the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress decides to declare a state of war or, by reason of turmoil within the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region which endangers national unity or security and is beyond the control of the Government of the Region, decides that the Region is in a state of emergency, the Hong Kong Garrison shall perform its duties in accordance whith the provisions of the national laws that the Central People's Government decides to apply in the Region.第六条核出口由国务院指定的单位专营，任何其他单位或者个人不得经营。 ARTICLE 6 Nuclear exports shall be handled by units designated by the State Council.
