- 第一百七十三条外国人经营的外国民用航空器，在中华人民共和国境内从事民用航空活动，适用本章规定；本章没有规定的，适用本法其他有关规定。 Article 173 The provisions of this Chapter shall be applicable to foreign civil aircraft operated by foreigners and engaged in civil aviation activities in the territory of the People's Republic of China; where no provisions are available in this Chapter, other provisions concerned in this Law shall apply.
- 第一百七十三条本章规定，不适用于海上已经就位的从事海底矿物资源的勘探、开发或者生产的固定式、浮动式平台和移动式近海钻井装置。 Article 173 The provisions of this Chapter shall not apply to fixed or floating platforms or mobile offshore drilling units when such platforms or units are on location engaged in the exploration, exploitation or production of sea-bed mineral resources.
- 第一百七十四条外国民用航空器根据其国籍登记国政府与中华人民共和国政府签订的协定、协议的规定，或者经中华人民共和国国务院民用航空主管部门批准或者接受，方可飞入、飞出中华人民共和国领空和在中华人民共和国境内飞行、降落。 Article 174 A foreign civil aircraft may enter or leave the airspace of the People's Republic of China, and operate or land in the territory of the People's Republic of China only in accordance with the air transport agreement concluded between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the government of the State in which the aircraft is registered, or in accordance with the approval or clearance of the competent civil aviation authority under the State Council of the People's Republic of China.

- 第一百七十五条外国民用航空器飞入中华人民共和国领空，其经营人应当提供有关证明书，证明其已经投保地面第三人责任险或者已经取得相应的责任担保； Article 175 The operator of a foreign civil aircraft entering the airspace of the People's Republic of China shall furnish relevant certificate(s) to prove that he has been covered by insurance against liability for third parties on the surface, or obtained corresponding guarantee;
- 第一百七十六条外国民用航空器的经营人经其本国政府指定，并取得中华人民共和国国务院民用航空主管部门颁发的经营许可证，方可经营中华人民共和国政府与该外国政府签订的协定、协议规定的国际航班运输； Article 176 The operator of a foreign civil aircraft may operate the international scheduled air services specified in the air transport agreement concluded between the Government of the People's Republic of China and his own government only after he has been designated by his own government and obtained the operating licence issued by the competent civil aviation authority under the State Council of the People's Republic of China;
- 第一百七十六条有下列情形之一，经一方当事人起诉或者双方当事人协议仲裁的，受理争议的法院或者仲裁机构可以判决或者裁决变更救助合同： Article 176 The salvage contract may be modified by a judgment of the court which has entertained the suit brought by either party, or modified by an award of the arbitration organization to which the dispute has been submitted for arbitration upon the agreement of the parties, under any of the following circumstances:

- 第一百七十八条在救助作业过程中，被救助方对救助方负有下列义务： Article 178 During the salvage operation, the party salved is under an obligation to the salvor to:
- 第一百七十八条外国民用航空器，应当按照中华人民共和国国务院民用航空主管部门批准的班期时刻或者飞行计划飞行； Article 178 The flight of a foreign civil aircraft shall be conducted in accordance with the timetable or flight plan approved by the competent civil aviation authority under the State Council of the People's Republic of China;
- 第一百七十九条外国民用航空器应当在中华人民共和国国务院民用航空主管部门指定的设关机场起飞或者降落。 Article 179 A foreign civil aircraft shall take off or land at a customs airport designated by the competent civil aviation authority under the State Council of the People's Republic of China.
- 第一百七十九条救助方对遇险的船舶和其他财产的救助，取得效果的，有权获得救助报酬； Article 179 Where the salvage operations rendered to the distressed ship and other property have had a useful result, the salvor shall be entitled to a reward.
- 第十七条 民航局对外航提出延长或者变更经营许可的申请，在本规定第十二条、第十三条规定的期限内做出决定。 Article 17 Civil Aviation Administration shall make decision within prescribed time limit in article 12 and 13 of the Regulations for application of extension or changing of business license submitted by the foreign airline.
- 第十八条民用航空器优先权，是指债权人依照本法第十九条规定，向民用航空器所有人、承租人提出赔偿请求，对产生该赔偿请求的民用航空器具有优先受偿的权利。 Article 18 A civil aircraft lien is the right of the claimant, subject to the provisions of Article 19 of this Law, to take priority in compensation against the owner and lessee of the civil aircraft with respect to the civil aircraft which gave rise to the said claim.
- 第十八条由于下列原因造成的货物、包裹、行李损失的，铁路运输企业不承担赔偿责任： Article 18 A railway transport enterprise shall not be liable to indemnity for any loss, in relation to goods, parcels or luggage, caused by the following reasons:
- 第十八条被请求人提供担保，或者当事人有正当理由申请解除海事请求保全的，海事法院应当及时解除保全。 Article 18 If the person against whom the application for maritime preservation is made provides guaranty, or the party has justified reasons for applying cancellation of maritime reservation, the people's court shall cancel the property reservation promptly.
- 第十八条抵押权人将被抵押舶舶所担保的债权全部或者部分转让他人的，抵押权随之转移。 Article 18 In case the mortgagee has transferred all or part of his right to debt secured by the mortgaged ship to another person, the mortgage shall be transferred accordingly.
- 第十八条规划和新建村镇、开发区，应当与公路保持规定的距离并避免在公路两侧对应进行，防止造成公路街道化，影响公路的运行安全与畅通。 Article 18 New villages and towns and development zones should be planned and built with prescribed distances from highways and absolutely not to have any highway running across to avoid using highways as part of streets to impede the safety and smooth operations of the highways.
- 第十八条承运人办理承运手续时，必须核对乘机人和行李。 Article 18 The carrier, in performing the formalities for transportation, must check up passengers and baggage in the aircraft.
- 第十八条 申请人可以对其仲裁请求提出修改,被申请人也可以对其反请求提出修改。但是,仲裁庭认为其修改的提出过迟而影响仲裁程序正常进行的,可以拒绝修改请求。 Article 18 The Claimant may request to amend his claim whilst the Respondent may request to amend his counterclaim. However the arbitration tribunal may refuse such a request for amendment if it considers that it is too late to raise the request as the amendment may affect the normal process of the arbitration proceedings.
- 第十八条 主管机关应当收集海底地形、海上构筑物分布等方面的资料，为海底电缆、管道的铺设及其调查、勘测活动提供咨询服务。 Article 18 The competent authorities shall collect data concerning submarine topography and the distribution of structures at sea in order to offer consultancy services for laying of submarine cables and pipelines, and for conducting relevant investigations and surveying activities.
- 第十八条拥有车辆的单位和个人，必须按照国家规定，向公路养护部门缴纳养路费。 Article 18 Units and individuals who possess cars should pay highway maintenance fees at the highway maintenance departments in accordance with state regulations.
- 第十八条 保税区外贸企业进出口货物时，海关凭外贸和生产企业签订的代理进出口合同及其他有关单证验放。 Article 18 When a foreign trade enterprise in the bonded area conducts import and export of goods, the Customs shall give clearance after verifying the import and export agency contract signed between the foreign trade enterprise and the interested production enterprise, and other relevant documents.
