- 调查委员会应当向本级人民代表大会提出调查报告。人民代表大会根据调查委员会的报告，可以作出相应的决议。人民代表大会可以授权它的常务委员会听取调查委员会的调查报告，常务委员会可以作出相应的决议，报人民代表大会下次会议备案。 An investigation committee shall present an investigation report to the people's congress at the corresponding level. However, if the same party has been fined for the same violation according to other laws, it shall not be fined a second time.
- 地方、部门、单位的领导人对拒绝、抵制篡改统计资料或者对拒绝、抵制编造虚假数据行为的统计人员进行打击报复的，依法给予行政处分；构成犯罪的，依法追究刑事责任。 Any leading member of local authorities, departments or units who retaliates against the statisticians who refuses to fabricate statistical data or opposes doing so shall be given administrative sanctions according to law; if the cases constitutes a crime, he shall be investigated for criminal responsibility according to law.
