- 因科学研究等特殊需要引进本条第一款规定的禁止进境物的，必须事先提出申请，经国家动植物检疫机关批准。 Whoever, because of special needs such as scientific research, imports any objects prohibited from entering the country as prescribed in the first paragraph of this Article, must submit an application in advance, which shall be subject to the approval by the State animal and plant quarantine department.
- 违反本法规定，生产经营不符合卫生标准和食品，造成严重食物中毒事故或者其他严重食源性疾患，对人体健康造成严重危害的，或者在生产经营的食品中掺入有毒、有害的非食品原料的，依法追究刑事责任。 Whoever, in violation of this Law, produces or markets food which is not up to the hygiene standards, thus causing a serious accident of food poisoning or resulting in a disease caused by food-borne bacteria, and seriously harming human health, or adulterates food he produces or markets with toxic or harmful non-food raw materials, shall be investigated for criminal responsibility according to law.
- 未经口岸动植物检疫机关同意，不得卸离运输工具。 without consent of the port animal and plant quarantine office, the same shall not be unloaded from the means of transport.
