- 严重破坏性地震发生后，国务院应当对地震灾区提供救助，责成经济综合主管部门综合协调救灾工作并会同国务院其他有关部门，统筹安排救灾资金和物资。 After the occurrence of a severely destructive earthquake, the State Council shall provide aid to the earthquake-stricken areas and charge the competent department for comprehensive management of the economy with the duty of coordinating the efforts for disaster relief in an all- round way and, together with the relevant departments under the State Council, make an overall plan for the distribution of relief funds and materials.
- 工程竣工后，取土场、开挖面和废弃的砂、石、土存放地的裸露土地，必须植树种草，防止水土流失。 after the project is completed, trees must be planted and grass grown on the earth-fetching area, excavated land surface and the exposed land surface for the disposition of waste sand, rock and earth, in order to prevent soil erosion.

- 禁止任何单位和个人扰乱煤矿矿区的生产秩序和工作秩序。 All units and individuals shall be forbidden to disrupt the order of production and other work in coal mine areas.
- 任何单位或者从事地震工作的专业人员关于短期地震预测或者临震预测的意见，应当报国务院地震行政主管部门或者县级以上地方人民政府负责管理地震工作的部门或者机构按照前款规定处理，不得擅自向社会扩散。 All units and specialists engaged in seismic work shall submit their predictions about short-term or imminent earthquakes to the competent administrative department for seismic work under the State Council or to the administrative departments or institutions for seismic work under the local people's governments at or above the county level, which shall deal with them in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph; they may not spread their predictions to the public without authorization.
- 在中华人民共和国管辖海域内从事航行、勘探、开发、生产、科学研究及其他活动的任何船舶、平台、航空器、潜水器、企业事业单位和个人，都必须遵守本法。 All vessels, platforms, airborne vehicles and submersibles, as well as all enterprises, institutions and individuals engaged in navigation, exploration, exploitation, production, scientific research or other activities in the sea areas under the jurisdiction of the People's Republic of China shall comply with this Law.

- 建设项目的环境影响报告书，必须对建设项目可能产生的大气污染和对生态环境的影响作出评价，规定防治措施，并按照规定的程序报环境保护行政主管部门审查批准。 An environmental impact statement on construction projects shall include an assessment of the atmospheric pollution the project is likely to produce and its impact on the ecosystem, stipulate the preventive and curative measures. The statement shall be submitted, according to the specified procedure, to the administrative department of environmental protection concerned for examination and approval.
- 环境影响报告书中，应当有该建设项目所在地单位和居民的意见。 An environmental impact statement shall contain comments and suggestions of the units and residents in the place where the construction project is located.

- 集体所有的水工程应当依照省、自治区、直辖市人民政府的规定，划定保护范围。 Any collectively-owned water project shall have a zone for its protection, to be delimited in accordance with stipulations made by the people's government of the relevant province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government.
- 含弱放射性物质的废水，确需向海域排放的，必须执行国家放射防护的规定和标准。 Any discharge of waste water containing low-level radioactive matter into the sea, when really necessary, shall be carried out in strict compliance with the state provisions and standards concerning radioactive protection.
- 向水体排放含低放射性物质的废水，必须符合国家有关放射防护的规定和标准。 Any discharge of waste water containing low-level radioactive substances into any water body must comply with the regulations and standards of the State for radioactive protection.
- 赔偿责任和赔偿金额的纠纷，可以根据当事人的请求，由环境保护行政主管部门或者其他环境噪声污染防治工作的监督管理部门、机构调解处理； Any dispute over the liability for losses or over the amount of compensation may, at the request of the parties concerned, be mediated by the competent administrative department for environmental protection or any other supervisory and administrative department or institution in charge of prevention and control of environmental noise pollution;
- 赔偿责任和赔偿金额的纠纷，可以根据当事人的请求，由水行政主管部门处理；当事人对处理决定不服的，可以向人民法院起诉。当事人也可以直接向人民法院起诉。 Any dispute over the liability or amount of compensation may, upon the request by a party, be dealt with by the department of water administration; if the party is not satisfied with the decision thus made, it may bring a suit in a people's court. The party may also directly bring a suit in a people's court.
- 赔偿责任和赔偿金额的纠纷，可以根据当事人的请求，由环境保护行政主管部门调解处理； Any dispute over the liability to make compensations or the amount of compensation may, at the request of the parties, be settled by the administrative department of environmental protection;
- 使用有毒、有害原料进行生产或者在生产中排放有毒、有害物质的企业，应当定期实施清洁生产审核，并将审核结果报告所在地的县级以上地方人民政府环境保护行政主管部门和经济贸易行政主管部门。 Any enterprise using toxic and hazardous materials in production or discharging toxic and hazardous substances shall periodically conduct cleaner production audits, and report the audit results to the relevant administrative departments for environmental protection and the relevant departments for economic and trade under the local people's government at or above county level.
