- 对伐区作业不符合规定的单位，发放采伐许可证的部门有权收缴采伐许可证，中止其采伐、直到纠正为止。 With regard to organizations that conduct cutting operations in violation of provisions, the cutting license issuing authorities have the right to confiscate the cutting license and suspend their cutting operations until corrective measures are taken.
- 在生活饮用水地表水源一级保护区内已设置的排污口，由县级以上人民政府按照国务院规定的权限责令限期拆除或者限期治理。 With regard to sewage outlets already built in the first-grade surface sources protection zones for domestic and drinking water, the people's governments at or above the county level shall, pursuant to the limits of power authorized by the State Council, order that they be dismantled or treated within a time limit.

- 国家对乡镇煤矿采取扶持、改造、整顿、联合、提高的方针，实行正规合理开发和有序发展。 With regard to township coal mines, the State shall adopt the policies of support, transformation, rectification, merging and upgrading, so that they shall exploit the resources in a regular and rational manner and in good order.
- 全民所有制单位使用的草原，由县级以上地方人民政府登记造册，核发证书，确认使用权。集体所有的草原和集体长期固定使用的全民所有的草原，由县级人民政府登记造册，核发证书，确认所有权或者使用权。 With respect to grasslands used by units under ownership by the whole people, the local people's governments at the county level or above shall register such grasslands, issue certificates to the said units after verification and thus establish their right to use such grasslands. With respect to grasslands under collective ownership and those under ownership by the whole people that are assigned to collectives for long-term use, the local people's governments at the county level shall register such grasslands, issue certificates to the collectives after verification and thus establish their right of ownership of the grasslands or their right to use them.
- 对水源涵养林、水土保持林、防风固沙林等防护林只准进行抚育和更新性质的采伐。 With respect to protective forests such as those for water supply conservation, water and soil conservation, windbreak and sand -- fixation, felling shall only be permitted for tending and regeneration of forests.
- 经省、自治区、直辖市人民政府批准，可以在林区设立木材检查站，负责检查木材运输。 With the approval of the people's government at the provincial, autonomous region or directly administered municipality level, timber inspection posts can be set up in forest districts to take charge of the inspection of timber transport.
- 除本条第一款规定的情形外，其他森林、林木和其他林地使用权不得转让。 With the exception of the circumstances specified in Paragraph One of this article, the use right for other forests, trees and other woodlands cannot be transferred.
- 在水工程保护范围内，禁止进行爆破、打井、采石、取土等危害水工程安全的活动。 Within the protection zone for a water project, any act of blasting, sinking a well, quarrying rock, and collecting earth, which endangers the safety of the water project, shall be prohibited.
- 禁止在河道、湖泊管理范围内建设妨碍行洪的建筑物、构筑物，倾倒垃圾、渣土，从事影响河势稳定、危害河岸堤防安全和其他妨碍河道行洪的活动。 Within the scope of control for any river course or lake it is prohibited to construct buildings or structures impeding flood discharge, dump garbage and waste residues or engage in activities affecting the stability of river flows, harming the safety of banks and embankments or other activities impeding flood discharge in river courses.
- 在防洪工程设施保护范围内，禁止进行爆破、打井、采石、取土等危害防洪工程设施安全的活动。 Within the scope of protection of flood control works, exploding, drilling wells, quarrying stones, collecting earth or other operations endangering the safety of flood control works are prohibited.
- 矿山企业职工有权对危害安全的行为提出批评、检举和控告。 Workers and staff of mining enterprises have the right to make criticisms, reports and charges against any conduct that endangers safety.
