- 推动全社会树立尊重和保护知识产权的良好风尚，为公民和企事业单位的发明创造、文学艺术创作以及对外科技、经济、文化合作与交流创造良好的环境和条件。 Society as a whole should be urged to foster the good habit of respecting and protecting intellectual property so as to create a favourable environment and condition for the inventions, creations, and literary/artistic works produced by citizens, enterprises and institutions.A favourable environment and condition should be also created for the scientific, technical, economic and cultural cooperation and exchange with foreign countries.

- 现由文化、文物及其他非宗教部门管理的寺观教堂等古建筑，不得设置功德箱、收取布施及从事宗教活动，更不得从事迷信活动。 Such ancient architectures as temples, monasteries and churches presently managed by the departments of culture and cultural relics and other non-religious departments must not install boxes for charitable and pious deeds, collect alms and engage in religious activities, let alone superstitious activities.
